Project Brief

Here is a recent project of ours where we came across a job that was less than straight forward. We were helping this client to move home, however, they had a large sofa that could only go through the balcony to get into the apartment. Obviously, the Davis & Mac Team could handle the challenge, and we used a furniture platform to get the item safely in via the balcony.

What We Did

The balcony was built from sheets of glass, so our team needed to use extra protection as they lifted in the sofa. You can see from the picture the type of protection we used on the glass to protect the panels from being damaged or shattering.

case study 1

Due to our previous site visit, the team were fully aware that there was little access for the sofa, and getting it to its desired home was going to be difficult. However, the site visit gave us the time to do all the safety checks necessary and bring in the furniture platform ready for moving day.

Our team successfully succeeded in getting the large sofa into the apartment without any damage to the balcony. If you are looking for removals in Notting Hill, get in touch with our team for more information.
